Summary:
Control Technologies, North America’s largest independently owned Traffic & ITS distributor, is seeking a full-time Regional Sales Manager in the state of Florida. Primary tasks include identifying new opportunities, developing relationships with industry contacts, and increasing the company’s revenue through the sales of all Control Technologies’ services and solutions.
The ideal candidate will have some prior direct technical-sales experience in the Traffic industry and the ability to travel the territory as required. Although industry experience is preferred, a talented sales person with a strong technical aptitude is encouraged to apply.
Job Requirements:
Daily calls on customers/agencies
Follow-up on those calls with literature/demo/presentations as required
Be able to present the product effectively
Have basic computer skills
Have a working knowledge and have used Microsoft Office products
Must enter information into our CRM on a daily basis
Be able to provide written and verbal communications effectively
Spend a good part of some days driving
Some overnight travel required within the sales territory
Some overnight travel outside the sales territory may be required
Weekly Sales/Activity Reports are required
Ability to learn the high-level technical aspects of the product offering
Be aware of the competition’s product offering and how we compare
Some early morning, evening, or weekend work may be required from time to time
Ability to carry product or equipment to locations where demos will occur
Qualifications:
Must have a current Florida Driver’s License
Must have a clean driving record and provide proof prior to hire
High School Diploma required
College Degree is a plus
Previous sales experience is a plus
Previous experience in the Traffic Control Industry is a plus
Will train the correct candidate
Compensation/Benefits
Full Time Salaried + Commission Position
Salary based on experience
