Job Title: Senior Project Manager
Job Description: The Kapsch TrafficCom Delivery & Operations Team is seeking a Senior Project Manager with experience delivering statewide or region-wide ATMS solutions via design-build delivery method. Candidates should have experience managing commercial, schedule, and technical challenges with 1,000's of functional requirements in a brownfield environment. The Project Manager will manage the project lifecycle from estimating and bidding through commissioning and field testing including contract and change order negotiations, subcontractor management, scheduling, staging and production, project staffing and budgeting, field commissioning and testing and final acceptance.
Responsibilities:
• Project management leadership for Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) projects, functioning as a prime contractor or subcontractor;
• Key point of contact of external clients and end users, responsible for managing all aspects of customer relations;
• Preparing estimates, scope letters, supporting marketing;
• Preparing and managing CPM schedules, budget forecasts and project tracking;
• Preparing and negotiating contracts, subcontracts, change orders, purchase orders and related commercial issues
• Leading the project team to deliver projects on time and on budget
• Travel up to 25% annually
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years project management experience on ATMS and ITS projects
