Job Description: Gannett Fleming is looking for a transportation professional for upcoming Connected and Automated Vehicle projects in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, or Florida. Join our Journey!
As Civil Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Planning, Computer Science, or similar background, you will be responsible for leading, management, planning, analysis, and design of innovative technology projects including Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Transportation Systems Management and Operations (TSMO), and Connected and Automated Vehicle (CAV) projects. Occasional travel on a regional level to meet with clients on site will be required. Relocation support is being offer for this opportunity.
Responsibilities will include:
On site client services may be required.
Provide guidance to the client for planning, designing, and implementing CAV technologies and associated ITS and TSMO systems.
Lead design and procurement activities.
Perform systems engineering and impact analyses.
Facilitate client discussions and workshops.
Provide technical oversight through quality control reviews of various CAV projects.
Requirements: Minimum Qualifications 5-10 years of technical experience in planning for or designing CAV, ITS, and/or TSMO projects. Experience with facilitating client discussions, consensus building, and coordination of various stakeholders. Strong writing skills. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Planning, Computer Science, or similar degree is desired
