CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS!

Transpo 2021
Recalibrating the Future

Hyatt Regency Coconut Point, Bonita Springs, FL
September 26 – 29, 2021

We are now accepting abstract submissions from transportation professionals for presentation at Transpo 2021: Recalibrating the Future.  Share your knowledge, cool projects, expertise, gain visibility and enhance your professional growth by presenting at this important event!  Interesting presentations that further the discussion about state-of-the-art transportation technologies or offer a fresh outlook on the policy, financial, economic or social implication of deploying advanced transportation technologies will be evaluated for selection.  Transpo 2021 will challenge participants to considering the impacts of pandemics and connected and automated vehicles on the future of traditional domains like traffic engineering and ITS / TSM&O while safely and efficiently operating our transportation network.

The Program Committee invites you to submit abstracts in one or more of the following program tracks:

  • Track 1: New Developments in CAV – When Will The Future Arrive?

  • Track 2: Transportation a la Modes – Especially Non-Motorized Transportation

  • Track 3: TSM&O Best Practices – Advancing Operations and Management to Achieve Safety

  • Track 4: Keeping the Economy Moving Post COVID-19 – Transportation Engineering and Planning Impacts

Abstracts should be one-page and include: your name, title and organization; working title of the presentation; and a description of the presentation content, short project or technology details.  Please also include a brief biography of the presenter(s) and the track for which you would like to be considered.  The presentation’s scope and originality must be of interest to a significant number of conference attendees and focus on real-world results rather than methodologies.  Presentations that market specific products and services will not be accepted, nor are presentations of this nature acceptable at the conference.  Case studies should be presented by the sponsoring organization, not by vendors.

Each presenter is allotted 15 minutes, plus five minutes for questions.  Sessions will be scheduled with as many as three other presentations, and opening and closing comments by the moderator, to form a cohesive session of 90 minutes in length.

E-mail your abstract to Catalina Echeverri (vicepresident@flprite.org) and Pete Costello (pete@feonixmobilityrising.org) by COB Tuesday, June 28, 2021.

A written paper is NOT required, and a compendium will not be provided.  Presenters will be requested to submit their presentation to Catalina Echeverri (vicepresident@flprite.org) and Pete Costello (pete@feonixmobilityrising.org) by September 1, 2021. Presentations will be made available to attendees through the Transpo 2021 website after the conference.

All accepted presenters must register and pay the conference registration fee.  Acceptance as a presenter does not register you for the conference — registration fees are required.
